yo people tml's skl again! sigh.
i still miss OBS. elgene told us to sign the obs guestbook n she'll contact us.. but it seems like the guestbook has some prob. cant be "signed" lah. sigh. hope we're fated then.
i so DO NOT MISS school. a place of stress. where creativity dies.
i miss the primitive lifestyle over at pulau ubin, i miss anyi's cooking [wahaha], i miss the either burnt or overcooked rice, i miss kayaking and the darn salty saltwater, i miss being far out in the sea, i miss trekking under the hot sun, i miss the jokes me and my watch shares, i miss the lame stuff elgene talks about {HAHA jk!}, i miss filling up my stomach every breakfast and lunch with dry biscuits, i miss staying up late into the night in our tent gossiping with anyi, huiping and eunice and then pretending to be asleep when elgene comes to check on us, i miss acting like country pumpkins embarrassing ourselves when we got to the residential place......... and above all,
I MISS ELGENE.
many thanks to you elgene. for being the best instructor ever in the universe, for always being so nice and patient with us, for making us laugh with ur lame-ness, for announcing that u are the "chioest bu", for putting up with us for being late, for being funny and all that NICEEE:), for hugging me and saying im strong, for being with me when im seasick, for being there when i have absolutely no idea what's the next step up the rock wall, for teaching me life's theories the natural way.......
dear elgene, thank you for everything. i duno how im gonna complete obs without YOU.

obs simply rocks. xD it's the best camp i've ever been to. yay. the best 5days. yay. school is so sickening. stress. eeks. not like jessamin so clever no stress. sigh. okays, back to obs.
me: amundsen. yay. we happen to have a GREAT instructor called ELGENE. yay. she's so chio. ha ha. our buddy group is junko and they happen to have a instructor by the name of jon. sigh.
day1: elgene is such a great instructor.
- this obscene thingy of getting thru ropes and stuff with all our hands held. whatever.
-learnt pitching tents. how
cool.
-act to be a "blade" of grass. that signifies trust and faith and stuff.
-falling down from this plank or whatever and the watchmates will catch u thingy. and since then i've been known as the "heaviest one" in the watch. sigh.
-belaying. ha ha. that is in preparation for the rock climbing and stuff. haha.
day2: elgene is such a great instructor! :)
-kayaking with junko. haha. and i got seasick. hem. and elgene is so niceee:) helping me to deal with it and stuff. she seriously rocks. and i managed to complte that whole thingy. i wouldnt w/o elgene. yay elgene rocks.
-campsite is this place opposite malaysia. without lights without electricity without anything. i wonder how i survived. esp with jessamin around.
-almost lost my way in the darkness cos i was accompanying huiping to the so called "toilet" and we were following this grp of girls when we walked so darn far b4 realising they are going to the resi camp. so both of us tried to walk back together in the darkness scared like hell. we bumped into these girls pitching tents (whom we realised are from junko) and den we managed to get back. but the bottom line is that we lost our way and THAT WAY happened to lead back. if it doesnt.. i duno what's gonna happen to us. phew.
day3: elgene is such a great instructor.
-went to the quarry! so cool. altho our so called "raft" became a submarine instead. haha. it's quite fun but i kinda got "quarry-sick". and the dumbo jessamin ignored me. so evil. hrmph.
-trekked to camp1 the resi place. i overheard elgene and jon talking and jon said to elgene, "see ya at camp1". DEN we knew where we are going altho elgene simply refuses to tell us anything. haha.
-the resi place was cool. the food was fascinating, when compared to our burnt rice and stuff. haha. anyi was sad. lol. oh we acted like country pumpkins woo-ing and ahh-ing around and one instructor commented that we looked like those who haven seen land for so long. haha.
-at night got this night trail thingy. and we were supposed to walk solo for around 3mins. i was damn scared la. i got a vivid imagination. lol. but i kept my eyes on the ground. come to think of it it wasnt nearly as scary. haha. everyone finally gathered with elgene and we were told to lie back to look at the starrrrs. so nice. haha. elgene rocks.
-yay! eunice came to our tent for that night and me, her, huiping, anyi crapped for duno how long into the night. so fun. and we heard some noises n it's actually elgene coming to check on us so we pretended to be asleep. haha. den we did fall asleep in the end.
day4:elgene is such a great instructor.
-found this note in front of our tents left by elgene. haha. no wonder she took so long shining the torch into our tents.
-trekked back to camp2. yay. last dinner outdoors. wasted alot of food btw cos we dint bring them out. haha. and at last threw them away. how sinful.
-i ran here and there like a mad dog cos i was sabo-ed to be the i/c la lame. haha. not like jessamin who keep slacking altho she's the i/c too. hahaha. made my hands black like whatever washing the mess tins while looking at jessamin playing the "when you.." thingy. hahahahahahaha.
-debrief with elgene! called chiobu for elgene but someone else responded instead. den elgene said when she's in the instructors' area, she's known as the "chioest bu". ahahahas. after that was so sad cos we know we're gonna miss her. when it was over, no one stood up and go la. and she had to chase us away somemore. haha.
-slept late too but not as late as day3.
day5: ELGENE IS SUCH A GREAT INSTRUCTOR.
-day to go home. sigh sigh.
-found a "love letter" in front of our store frm elgene. that tells us what we're supposed to wash and stuff. hahaha. i still have it. lol.
-went "hall". supposed to draw this fruit which we think signifies the whole obs course. i drew a starrrfruit. hahas. yay. how unique.
-den elgene gave us back our stuff..the certs, nyaa bklets etc. was so saddening that i cried like duno what. i'm gonna miss obs. den she hugged us and even said im strong like whatever. im not strong. im crying.
-was at punggol jetty when i see her again. signed my photo etc. told us, "have a good life out there, ladies!" im so sad. and i cried again in the bus. sigh.
elgene rocks. xD obs rocks.

tml having physics test and i so happen to hate physics. owells. last test of the term. jus hope I CAN PULL THROUGH.
Obsis coming!!! so nervous. and it's 5 DAYS. hafta pack so many stuff and hafta drag eveything to school too. sigh. every camp is liddat lah. first day damn bushuang and irritated. last day u're simply willing to live there..
scgs is obs-ing this week! today is wed. shermin's thrid day at obs! haha. gonna find out abt it when she's back. hope it's niceeee:)
duno if i'll get into mobile or residential. shermin says mobile is nice. heard so many versions of what we're actually gonna do in each "group" and now im blur*
